Job Summary

To ensure accurate case setup and clinical review of Medicare appeals, a Rhode Island Licensed Pharmacist will work remotely full-time, managing documentation, provider communications, and compliance with Medicare guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of case setup and clinical review of Medicare appeals by reviewing internal notes and obtaining clinical details from providers
• Adhere to CMS-mandated timelines and departmental productivity and quality standards while applying clinical judgment using drug compendia resources
• Participate in development discussions and receive feedback from supervisors to support continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in Rhode Island
• Experience in data entry and navigating multiple applications
• Ability to maintain a dedicated quiet workspace at home with a wired internet connection
• Demonstrated engagement and positive attitude for team collaboration
