Job Summary

To provide professional phone assistance and manage prior authorization processes, a fully remote Rhode Island Licensed Pharmacy Technician will handle incoming calls, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate administrative support activities, requiring at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls from members and providers, assisting with prior authorization processes
• Document approvals and denials accurately, transferring clinical questions to pharmacists as needed
• Utilize MS Office Suite for communication and documentation while coordinating administrative tasks

Required qualifications

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician certification or Trainee license preferred
• Active credential screenshot required if licensed
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant private workspace with a hardwired internet connection
