Job Summary

To support patient care continuity, the remote full-time Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician will place outbound calls to physician offices for prescription refill authorizations, document call activities, and navigate healthcare systems efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refill renewals
• Ensure refill requests are addressed promptly and accurately while maintaining professionalism
• Document call activity, approvals, denials, and case information accurately

Required qualifications

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician certification or registration (preferred but not required)
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office environments
• Understanding of pharmacy terminology and medication processes
• Experience in a high-volume inbound and outbound call environment
