Risk and Insurance Manager
Job Summary
To support nonclinical risk management and the centralized insurance program, the full-time remote Risk and Insurance Manager will manage loss prevention strategies, analyze risk issues, and ensure compliance with regulations affecting patients and employees.
Key responsibilities
- Supports strategic planning for risk assumption and loss prevention activities
- Participates in the collection of underwriting information and maintains databases of insured entities
- Implements loss prevention activities and educational programs as directed by the System Director
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or related field
- CPHRM certification required within 4 years of hire; CPCU or ARM preferred
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare administration, insurance, or loss prevention
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze risk and manage data effectively
