Risk and Insurance Manager

Job Summary

Managing the centralized insurance program, the full-time Risk and Insurance Manager will support nonclinical risk management, analyze risk issues, and direct loss prevention strategies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supports the strategic plan for risk assumption and loss prevention activities related to both physician and non-clinical risks
• Participates in the collection of underwriting information and maintains databases for insured entities and properties
• Implements loss prevention activities through risk analysis and educational programs as directed by the System Director

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or a related field
• CPHRM certification required within 4 years of hire; CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare provision, administration, insurance, or loss prevention
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively with various internal departments and manage certificate requests
