Risk Consultant

Job Summary

Partnering with business leaders across the organization, the full-time Risk Consultant will identify, assess, and manage operational, financial, regulatory, and technology-related risks while providing practical guidance to strengthen risk management practices in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate various risks while supporting sound business decisions and organizational objectives
• Lead risk management activities, including risk assessments, control reviews, and oversight within the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework
• Analyze risk data and trends to identify emerging risks, communicate findings, and drive risk-related projects and process improvements

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, or a related industry, with 2+ years in Enterprise Risk, Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance
• Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and risk-related systems and tools
