Risk Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Risk Data Scientist will research, model, implement, and validate algorithms to analyze diverse data sources, contributing to effective risk management and business problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

• Works with large structured and unstructured datasets to unlock value across business functions
• Builds and tests machine learning and AI models while designing data visualizations for communication with business leaders
• Utilizes Big Data tools to develop data analytics solutions and draws insights for informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years, Master's degree with two years, or Ph.D. with two years of experience in a quantitative/analytical/STEM field
• One year of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
• Two years of experience with statistical and predictive modeling concepts, including machine learning techniques
• Two years of programming experience analyzing large datasets using tools like Python or R
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
