Risk Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Managing a team of multiline and property field engineers, the full-time Risk Engineering Manager will ensure quality control of reports, meet production goals, and contribute to account acquisition and retention in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the completion and submission of work by field engineers, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and production goals
• Collaborate with management to establish risk improvement processes and service plans for large accounts focused on key loss sources
• Manage subcontractor selection and performance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports to underwriting partners and clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• 7-10 years of experience in insurance and general industry loss prevention
• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience
• Knowledge of sprinkler plan reviews, Life Safety Codes (NFPA 101), NFPA 13, and Factory Mutual guidelines
• Experience in assessing complex risks in chemical and automotive industries, as well as industrial or warehousing operations
