Risk Management Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Managing insurance operations for a complex of subsidiaries, the full-time Risk Management Insurance Specialist will oversee the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), coordinate with brokers and internal staff, and respond to insurance-related inquiries in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the RMIS Manager, implementing necessary changes and managing workflows within the system
• Conduct invoice reviews and manage the processing of Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests
• Assist in the collection of data for insurance applications and maintain insurance policies in the RMIS

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree, preferably in Insurance & Risk Management, Finance, or other quantitative fields
• 3-5 years of experience in a commercial insurance brokerage, insurance carrier, or corporate risk department
• 3+ years of progressive experience in various forms of Commercial Insurance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in RMIS systems; experience with Riskonnect is a plus
• Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus
