Job Summary
Leading the company's insurance and risk management initiatives, the full-time remote Risk Manager will develop and oversee insurance programs, manage claims, and ensure compliance with financing obligations for a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement insurance placement strategies while managing broker negotiations and renewals
- Serve as the primary contact for insurance claims, coordinating submissions and maximizing recovery opportunities
- Monitor portfolio risks and develop risk analytics, dashboards, and reporting metrics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Insurance, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or renewable energy industries
- Demonstrated experience managing complex insurance programs and claims
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts and policy structures
- Experience working with brokers, carriers, and legal teams
