Job Summary
Owning the transmission risk models within an AI-driven platform, the full-time Risk Model Engineer will migrate existing probabilistic models, extend threat coverage, and develop new analytical capabilities while working remotely from the US or Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate existing probabilistic model code to the risk management platform and validate results against the current implementation
- Extend threat coverage across domains, including corrosion, cracking, and third-party damage, while designing time-series and anomaly detection models
- Collaborate with ML Ops and data engineering teams to ensure effective deployment and monitoring of models
Required Qualifications
- Experience building or validating quantitative risk, reliability, or failure models for physical infrastructure, preferably pipelines
- Familiarity with pipeline integrity standards and regulations such as ASME B31.8S and 49 CFR 192
- Experience with Monte Carlo simulation, structural reliability, and uncertainty quantification
- Proficiency in applying machine learning to physical asset data, including time-series and anomaly detection models
- Strong software engineering practices, including testing and reproducibility
