Risk Officer
Job Summary
Supporting the Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel, the full-time Risk Officer will focus on building the Risk Department by managing compliance, legal documentation, and regulatory activities, particularly in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and due diligence for clients and counterparties, ensuring compliance with vendor and partner requirements
- Maintain compliance records and support legal documentation, contract administration, and calendar management
- Assist with AML/KYC onboarding, due diligence reviews, and ongoing customer monitoring
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of legal/paralegal experience preferred
- Experience in AML/KYC, compliance, legal administration, or financial services preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft 365 suite, and document management systems
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
