RN Manager of Clinical Documentation

Job Summary

Leading the intersection of clinical expertise and process improvement, the full-time salaried RN Manager of Clinical Documentation will develop and implement education and training programs for Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) teams while ensuring compliance and enhancing documentation quality in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops and implements system-wide education and process improvement activities for CDI teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Facilitates optimal clinical documentation through targeted educational programs and monitors trends to drive continuous improvement
• Acts as a subject matter expert, conducting educational sessions and collaborating with clinical providers to enhance documentation practices

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing
• Two years of acute hospital experience or surgical area as a clinical nurse
• Three years of experience as a clinical documentation specialist
• Two years of progressive leadership experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state of work location
