RN Medical Clearance Case Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time RN Medical Clearance Case Manager will assess and manage patient medical clearances, coordinating with specialists and ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines, all while working remotely Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Coordinate referrals to specialists for further evaluations and ensure timely completion of medical clearance requests
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient workflows and maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions

Required qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a medical clearance professional or case manager, preferably in a remote setting
• Active state RN license and nursing diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Office applications
• Preferred completion of a Certified Professional Utilization Review (CPUR) program or Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification
• Preferred bachelor's degree with a business concentration or an MBA
