Robotics and AI Architect
Job Summary
To define the technical architecture for a large-scale robotics platform, the full-time Robotics and AI Architect will establish reference architectures, APIs, and integration patterns while working across robotics software, cloud services, and AI systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define long-term architecture and technical strategy for robotics and physical AI software platforms
- Design scalable platform architectures that support autonomous robot fleets and enterprise integrations
- Establish secure communication architectures and interoperability patterns for heterogeneous robotics platforms
Required qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in architecting distributed systems
- Deep expertise in cloud-native software architecture and distributed platform design
- Strong programming background in C++, Go, Java, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern cloud platforms
