ROI Medical Records Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate processing of medical information requests, the full-time ROI Medical Records Specialist will work remotely, safeguarding patient privacy and delivering high-quality customer service while adhering to HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Completes release of information requests by retrieving and transmitting medical records accurately
• Validates requests and authorizations while performing quality checks to ensure compliance and confidentiality
• Provides excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and maintaining a professional work environment

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
• Proven customer satisfaction skills and ability to multi-task effectively
