RPG Programmer
Job Summary
To support ongoing projects, the remote contract RPG Programmer will develop innovative solutions, implement effective business strategies, and work collaboratively within a distributed team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative coding solutions using RPG III, RPGLE, and SQL
- Collaborate with team members to design and execute effective business solutions within ERP systems
- Utilize Aldon Lifecycle Manager for change management and software deployment processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Significant experience as an RPG programmer with extensive knowledge of IBM-i functions
- Proficiency in CL programming, RPG III, RPGLE, and SQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of coding best practices
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed environment
