Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote SAFe Certified Scrum Master will facilitate sprint planning, maintain sprint backlogs, and coach the team on SAFe practices while working in a mission-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in two-week sprints
- Maintain current sprint backlogs, impediments, risks, and Agile metrics in VA Jira
- Coach the team and the VA Product Owner on SAFe 6.0 practices and escalate risks to program leadership
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach
- Experience on a SAFe Agile Release Train
- Proficiency in Jira administration for sprint boards and metrics
- Bachelor's degree
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required
