SAFe Licensed Product Delivery Lead

Job Summary

Leading product delivery for the Department of Veterans Affairs Supply Chain Management DevSecOps task order, the hybrid Head of Product Delivery & PI Planner will manage the Sub-Product Line Leads and the Intake Team, oversee quarterly PI Planning, and ensure the successful execution of product line deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Sub-Product Line Leads and Intake Team, serving as the primary delivery counterpart to VA Product Line leadership
• Own the end-to-end quarterly PI Planning process, including backlog readiness, capacity planning, and reporting on planned versus actual objectives
• Direct the Intake Team to ensure timely and accurate requirements analysis proposals and manage Authority to Operate activities across the product line

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of IT delivery experience, with 5+ years in SAFe leadership roles managing product line or release train delivery
• Experience facilitating end-to-end PI Planning for multiple ARTs or product lines, including capacity and dependency management
• Familiarity with VA OIT product line management and related processes
• Proficient in Agile and DORA metrics, roadmap management, and requirements analysis proposal development
• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification required
