Safety Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance AI safety measures, the full-time remote Safety Engineer will design and scale automated moderation systems, respond to emerging threats, and maintain production infrastructure for ElevenLabs' products.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale automated moderation systems and abuse detection capabilities
- Collaborate with the Investigations team to identify and respond to emerging abuse patterns and threats
- Build and maintain production infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficient operation of safety services
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in building and operating production systems
- Strong backend engineering skills, including API design and scalable service development
- Proficiency in Python and experience with modern backend frameworks
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based applications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
