Salesforce Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of 10 to 15 engineers, the full-time remote Salesforce Engineering Manager will drive development velocity, oversee the architecture and performance of Salesforce applications, and mentor senior engineers while ensuring adherence to best practices in technical leadership and people management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, performance, and scalability of Salesforce Platform and Node.js based services
- Own the technical direction of Salesforce applications and mentor senior engineers
- Manage a team of developers by setting goals, conducting 1:1s, and removing blockers to balance roadmap delivery with engineering excellence
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Strong Salesforce expertise, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
- Proven experience in Salesforce technical architecture and designing scalable enterprise solutions
- Strong background in Node.js and building maintainable services and integrations
- Deep understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization
