Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
Job Summary
To support the USDA Digital Services Center, the full-time remote Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator will manage platform operations, including user access, data governance, and automation monitoring, while ensuring compliance and optimal performance of the Marketing Cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and configure business units, monitor entitlement consumption, and track Marketing Cloud instance health
- Administer user access and security, enforcing authentication protocols and maintaining compliance with federal audit requirements
- Oversee data management, including creating data extensions, troubleshooting SQL queries, and ensuring data hygiene and retention policies
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a USDA Public Trust (MBI)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- Practical experience with SQL and AMPscript, including user administration in a multi-business-unit tenant
