Salesforce QA Tester
Job Summary
To support the New York State Department of Labor, the full-time remote Salesforce QA Tester will manage requirements gathering, user story development, and testing for the Salesforce instance, ensuring high-quality releases without disrupting live operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead requirement workshops to document complex call center workflows and business rules
- Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications for the development team
- Execute functional, integration, and UI test scripts while managing defect tracking and collaboration with developers
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis and quality assurance on IT consulting projects, particularly with Salesforce
- Strong background in requirements elicitation, workflow mapping, and writing user stories with testable acceptance criteria
- Proven experience in designing and executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Service Cloud concepts and public sector workflows is preferred
- Hands-on experience with agile backlog tools like Jira and Copado for tracking requirements and test scripts
