Job Summary
To support the deployment of Salesforce platforms, the part-time Salesforce Release Manager will oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle, bridge traditional change sets with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely for 12-15 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid release strategies combining Salesforce change sets with CI/CD tools
- Manage release schedules, branching strategies, and deployment pipelines in Salesforce orgs
- Conduct release planning, testing, and rollback procedures to support agile sprints and program deliverables
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in Salesforce administration/development, with 2+ years as a Release Manager
- Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce change sets and CI/CD platforms, particularly Gearset
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform Developer I (or II), and ideally Release Management or DevOps-related badges
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, and compliance standards (SOX, FISMA)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
