SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the SAP ABAP Developer will develop, enhance, and support ABAP reports and custom programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions based on business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and support ABAP reports and custom programs, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Analyze existing programs for modifications and enhancements, resolving functional and technical issues through debugging
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation
Required qualifications
- Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts and experience with debugging and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects and modularization techniques such as Function Modules and subroutines
- Proficiency in developing ALV reports and working with SAP forms including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms
- Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and production support activities
- Ability to prepare technical documentation for developments and enhancements
