SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
Leading custom code remediation and performance optimization efforts, the full-time remote SAP ABAP Developer will execute technical conversion tasks during the transition from legacy ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and adapt custom ABAP code, reports, and enhancements for S/4HANA compatibility
- Utilize the ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to identify obsolete code through simplification item checks
- Optimize legacy programs for efficient performance on the SAP HANA database using modern techniques
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience, including participation in 2 to 3 Brownfield conversion projects
- Advanced skills in Object-Oriented ABAP, debugging, SQL optimization, and enhancement frameworks
- Deep understanding of S/4HANA data structures and migration cockpit tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
