SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
Leading custom code remediation and performance optimization tasks, the full-time remote SAP ABAP Developer will execute technical conversions during the transition from legacy ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and adapt custom ABAP code for compatibility with the S/4HANA simplification database list
- Utilize the ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to identify obsolete code through simplification item checks
- Optimize legacy programs for efficient operation on the SAP HANA database using modern techniques
Required qualifications
- 7 to 10+ years of SAP ABAP experience, including participation in at least 2 to 3 Brownfield conversion projects
- Proficiency in Advanced Object-Oriented ABAP, debugging, SQL optimization, and enhancement frameworks
- Deep understanding of S/4HANA data structures and migration cockpit tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
