SAP Basis Administrator
Job Summary
To support the architecture and optimization of enterprise SAP systems, the contracted SAP Basis Administrator will manage system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing administration of enterprise SAP systems and database environments
- Provide hands-on SAP Basis administration to ensure the performance, stability, security, and availability of SAP applications
- Troubleshoot complex SAP system and database issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and operational requirements, along with experience on Windows and Linux platforms
- Experience with enterprise database platforms such as SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
