SAP Basis Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely during the second shift, the SAP Basis Engineer will provide technical support for client SAP systems, focusing on enhancements, updates, and deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continual improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Perform project-based and production support for SAP system migrations, landscape refreshes, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for problem resolution and procedures
- Engage in root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to improve system operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Engineer in a 24/7 environment
- Solid background in administering the SAP HANA database
- Understanding of SAP security principles
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ansible preferred
