SAP Basis Manager
Job Summary
Leading the operational stability of a complex SAP landscape, the full-time remote SAP Basis Manager will manage hands-on technical delivery, oversee high-severity incident resolutions, and mentor the Basis team while engaging with client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own operational stability of the SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and ECC, and lead high-severity incident resolutions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Basis team while ensuring effective workload balancing and shift coverage
- Act as the primary client contact for Basis services, managing expectations and driving service reviews
Required Qualifications
- 10-16 years of core SAP Basis administration experience, including hands-on work with S/4HANA and ECC
- Proficiency in SAP Landscape Management (LaMa) and SAP Focused Run (FRUN) for system monitoring and management
- Strong DBA skills across HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server, including performance management and backup/recovery
- Experience with integration applications such as SAP PO/PI and archiving/content management tools
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure and operating systems, particularly Linux, Unix, and Windows
