Job Summary
To enhance manufacturing processes, the contracted SAP ePPDS Consultant will lead the implementation and support of SAP ePPDS solutions in an SAP S/4HANA environment while collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize planning and scheduling solutions remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and support of SAP ePPDS solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective SAP-based planning and scheduling solutions
- Conduct implementation assessments and identify improvement opportunities for existing ePPDS implementations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP PP/DS implementation and support, particularly with embedded PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ePPDS, including DS Board and PP/DS Optimizer
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and relevant data transfer mechanisms in ePPDS implementations
- Solid understanding of production planning processes, including Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS)
- Hands-on experience with heuristics, capacity leveling, and scheduling strategies
