SAP FICO Architect Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing financial technology initiative, the contract SAP FICO Architect/ONESOURCE Integration Consultant will lead the integration between SAP S/4HANA financial systems and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, ensuring accurate global tax calculations and financial reporting, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid model from Pleasanton, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Configure core SAP modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable to integrate seamlessly with external tax engines
• Build and maintain technical connectivity between SAP and ONESOURCE using SAP BTP and secure protocols
• Create tax codes in SAP to automate tax calculations and ensure compliance with global tax requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
• 7 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO consulting and implementation
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Direct experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tools
• Deep understanding of global tax types, including VAT, GST, and US Sales and Use tax
