SBA Business Development Officer
Job Summary
Covering the Mississippi region, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior will be responsible for marketing a range of banking services to SBA loan-eligible businesses, focusing on client contact, origination, and analysis of loan proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Self-source SBA loan origination with an emphasis on client interaction and financial analysis
- Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, and prepare credit packages for SBA loans ranging from $350K to $5MM
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' experience in SBA lending
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in SBA, business, or commercial lending
- Experience with SBA loan origination and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
- Proficiency in PC and internet applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
