Job Summary
Responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to SBA loan eligible businesses, the full-time remote SBA Business Development Officer Sr. will focus on self-sourcing SBA loan origination, client contact, and analysis, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Self-source SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact and analysis for loans ranging from $350K to $5MM
- Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, complete initial analysis, and prepare credit packages
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
- A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
- Experience with SBA loan origination and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in PC and internet usage
