SCADA Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. SCADA Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary application and user support for SCADA systems and related applications
- Develop displays for new facilities, including polling configurations and data validation
- Update and maintain applications to reflect ongoing operational changes and manage related support tickets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience with SCADA systems, preferably Cygnet, AutoSol, and PI
- Proficiency in Object Oriented programming (VB.net, C#, C++, VBS, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of SCADA systems and data acquisition processes from RTUs and PLCs
- Knowledge of relational database management systems and ability to create custom queries
