Job Summary

To provide comprehensive clinical ambulatory scheduling for providers, the full-time Scheduler, Connecticut Licensed, will critically evaluate scheduling requests, utilize the EPIC scheduling system, and ensure prompt and courteous service to patients and providers while working remotely within Connecticut.

Key responsibilities
  • Assess urgency of calls and provide assistance or direct callers to appropriate personnel
  • Build and modify provider master schedules, manage appointment scheduling, and resolve conflicts
  • Coordinate diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and departmental meetings while maintaining accurate patient information
Required qualifications
  • Four years of related work experience, with two years in the same job family at the next lower level, or an Associate degree with two years of related experience
  • Proven experience in a high-volume healthcare-related call center or medical practice
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Competency in English language, grammar, and medical terminology
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
