Job Summary

To ensure timely and efficient patient appointment scheduling for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), the remote Scheduling Specialist will manage delivery, setup, maintenance, and pickup of medical equipment while providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery appointments for DME, PAP, and oxygen equipment based on patient needs and technician availability
  • Manage urgent requests and prioritize scheduling for critical patient needs, including emergency oxygen deliveries and equipment failures
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and generate performance metrics for management review
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, customer service, or administrative support preferred
  • One (1) year of work-related experience required for entry-level positions; additional experience needed for senior and lead levels
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of DME, PAP, and oxygen therapy equipment and patient care requirements
