Job Summary

Coordinating patient appointment scheduling for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) devices, and oxygen therapy services, the fully remote Scheduling Specialist will manage delivery, maintenance, and pickup appointments while providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery appointments for DME, PAP, and oxygen equipment, ensuring optimal timing based on patient needs
  • Manage emergency and urgent requests for critical patient needs, including oxygen deliveries and equipment replacements
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and generate performance metrics for management review
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, customer service, or administrative support preferred
  • One year of work-related experience required for entry-level positions; additional experience required for senior and lead levels
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of DME, PAP, and oxygen therapy equipment and patient care requirements
