Science Communications Manager

Job Summary

Leading strategic communications for vaccine product development and immunization science programs, the full-time Science Communications Manager will translate complex research into engaging content for diverse audiences while working remotely in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing strategic communications plans for Sabin's technical work
• Identify and craft compelling stories that showcase the impact of Sabin's research and partnerships
• Create high-quality written content across various formats, ensuring scientific accuracy and alignment with Sabin's brand standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, public health, communications, journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in science communications, biomedical communications, or health journalism
• Experience communicating product development, preferably vaccines, with knowledge of translational and regulatory sciences
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific information into accessible content
• Familiarity with MS Suite and project management tools like Smartsheet
