Science Research Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid or fully remote capacity, the full-time Science Research Intelligence Analyst will provide consultations and deliver services related to analyzing research data, supporting bibliometrics, and collaborating with various departments to enhance research visibility and funding opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Document, collect, and analyze research and scholarly activity data to inform strategic decision-making
- Provide education and outreach on research intelligence and analytics to researchers and administrators
- Serve as a liaison librarian to a designated program or department, offering specialized support and collaboration
Required qualifications
- A terminal degree in a relevant field, such as a master's in library and/or Information Science or a Ph.D
- Experience in a large research-intensive university or similar institution
- Knowledge of scholarly databases, metadata, and related platforms or tools
- Experience in designing and managing complex projects or services
- Familiarity with current trends in academic research and scholarship
