Scientific Director, Biostatistics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientific Director, Statistical and Data Coordinating Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and innovate all aspects of the SDCC research program, ensuring successful project implementation and data management
• Develop study protocols and provide statistical expertise in study design and analysis, including leading manuscript development for peer-reviewed journals
• Establish and maintain relationships with external government sponsors and internal executives, while supporting corporate initiatives for business development

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or a relevant field; PhD preferred
• At least 8 years of clinical research experience, with a minimum of 5 years in research portfolio management
• Extensive experience leading clinical research projects, with knowledge of unique challenges in disease research
• Working knowledge of clinical research management principles
