Job Summary
Contributing to the technical execution of consulting projects, the full-time Scientist II, QSP/QST will utilize Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) and Toxicology (QST) models, leveraging expertise in MATLAB and other programming languages to support pharmaceutical development in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain computational models representing cellular and biochemical processes
- Translate laboratory data into model parameters and curate clinical data for validation
- Lead consulting projects and contribute to R&D efforts, including model updates and manuscript preparation
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in QSP/QST modeling or equivalent skill sets
- Proficiency in MATLAB, THALES, and other relevant programming tools
- Master's degree in pharmaceutical science, biomedical engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- General knowledge of therapeutic areas and underlying biology or biochemistry
- Experience with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling techniques
