Scrum Master
Job Summary
Facilitating Agile delivery for the engineering team, the remote Scrum Master will manage Scrum ceremonies, coach team members on Agile practices, and maintain project metrics while supporting the Department of Homeland Security's digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach the team and Government product owner on Agile practices and backlog management
- Maintain Jira boards, sprint metrics, velocity, and burndown reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Scrum Master on software development teams
- Current Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Expert proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
