Job Summary
Supporting a software development team within a large-scale federal healthcare program, the remote Scrum Master II will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement while managing sprint cycles and delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Support a cross-functional team operating in three-week sprints with quarterly release commitments
- Identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and ensure sprint goals are achieved
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment supporting software development teams
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and Scaled Agile concepts
- Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and support successful sprint execution
- Hands-on experience with Jira for sprint tracking and backlog management
- Experience analyzing team performance metrics and communicating progress to stakeholders
