Job Summary
To support a Federal client with a business and IT modernization project, the remote Scrum Master with Public Trust will manage agile processes, facilitate team communications, and ensure the delivery of value every sprint while overseeing contractor personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and USDA's Product Owner
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove blockers and track team velocity to maintain a prioritized product backlog
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project or program management, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or agile coach
- Experience managing contractor teams on federal government IT contracts
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) strongly preferred
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
