Scrum Product Owner

Job Summary

Fulfilling the role of Scrum Product Owner in a full-time remote capacity, the candidate will develop the strategic vision for IT products, prioritize the product backlog, and lead the Scrum team to maximize value and alignment with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the strategic vision for IT products while ensuring alignment with business goals
• Own the prioritization of the product backlog, including defining user stories and acceptance criteria
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and set expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required
• Minimum of five years of business management or health care operations experience in insurance or managed care
• At least three years of experience leading business initiatives for systemic change
• Two years of experience in a functional Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master role
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Certification is preferred
