Job Summary
To enhance the testing automation framework, the full-time remote SDET will focus on improving the cost-of-mistake curve through scaling test automation, API testing, and performance testing while collaborating with development teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive engineering approaches to test automation at integration and end-to-end levels
- Extend and maintain the Playwright/TypeScript automation framework for UI and API tiers
- Design and implement API-tier test coverage against .NET REST services and build automated test harnesses for integration connectors
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with modern web frameworks, preferably Playwright
- Demonstrated experience testing RESTful APIs directly
- Experience maintaining test automation stability in CI environments
- Ability to apply risk and cost/value trade-offs in automation decisions
- Familiarity with C#/.NET and contract testing (Pact or similar) is ideal
