Seasonal Audit Senior Associate

Job Summary

To support the firm's busy seasons, the part-time Seasonal Audit Senior Associate will manage financial statement audits, communicate with clients about engagement expectations, and train junior staff while working both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, executing, and completing financial statement audits while managing budgets and performing in-charge roles as needed
• Communicating with clients about engagement expectations and informing them of relevant accounting and regulatory developments
• Training and supervising audit associates and interns, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines
• Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing
• Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the applicable state
• Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
• Experience with automation and digitization tools in audits or professional services
