Seasonal CPA Audit Associate

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team during peak periods, the Seasonal CPA Audit Associate will plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits while managing budgets and supervising junior staff, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, executing, and completing financial statement audits while managing the budget and performing in-charge roles as necessary
• Communicating effectively with clients regarding engagement expectations and informing them about relevant accounting and regulatory developments
• Training and supervising audit associates and interns, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing
• Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the applicable state
• Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
• Experience with automation and digitization tools in audits or professional services environments
