Job Summary

To support a seasonal influx of inquiries, the part-time hourly Seasonal Customer Service Representative will manage customer interactions via phone, email, or chat, providing assistance with tax-related questions and ensuring a high level of service in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide detailed information about products and services
• Resolve complex customer issues efficiently and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM and escalate cases as necessary

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing support experience, preferably over the phone
• Experience in tax preparation, tax software, or related financial services
• Ability to explain complex information in simple terms and recognize escalation needs
• Availability during tax season, including evenings and weekends
• Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and patient demeanor in stressful situations
